The first autumn seminar of the Hungarian Scruton Hub took place between September 27 and 29, on the shore of the Balaton.
The second topic of the three-day seminar was the family and the future plans of young people. During the discussion, our Head of Research Georgina Kiss-Kozma, Dr. Attila Beneda, Deputy State Secretary for Families, Michael Severance, Director of the Rome-based Acton Institute, and Noémi Pálfalvi, Director of International Relations at MCC, explored questions such as:
What attitude do young people have concerning marriage and family in the 21st century?
Why is the family an important fundamental institution, and how can it contribute to a balanced life?
What happens to society when traditional family models break down?
