Director Levente Székely and Family Security Expert Ákos Pöltl of the Youth Research Institute held consultations with Hungary’s Ambassador to Washington, during which several important topics were discussed, including issues concerning Hungarian families living in the diaspora, Hungarian youth communities operating in the United States, and key aspects of digital child protection.
Following the meeting, the Kossuth House hosted a lecture by Ákos Pöltl, who delivered a thought-provoking presentation on the causes of screen addiction and potential solutions to address it.
Our colleagues also visited the United Nations and the Consulate General of Hungary in New York City, where they held discussions with Gabriella Nagy, Science and Technology Attaché.
