Ákos Pöltl is a family safety expert and researcher-specialist at the MCC Youth Research Institute as well as a leading educator on the topics of internet usage and attention economy. He is also the professional director of the Defense Education and Research Center at Pannon University. He teaches at both Pannon University's Zalaegerszeg campus and the Széchenyi István University in Győr. Over the past few years, he has been holding lectures on the topic of screen addiction to raise awareness of the issue; he also conducts early threat recognition trainings for adults, elementary and high school children, parents, teachers, and child protection specialists. He obtained a degree in economics, majoring in international communication, specializing in English and German. In addition, he obtained a Level 3 Close Protection Officer degree from Buckinghamshire New University and Longmoor Security in England. He is currently still training in this field as a postgraduate student of MSC psychology at the University of Wolverhampton, where he is studying cyber psychology, among other things.
