For the first time, the Danube Institute, in cooperation with the Youth Research Institute is organising its international summit focusing on family policy in Budapest under the title "Family Formation and the Future – A Conference on the Geopolitical, Cultural, and Legal Dimensions of Demographic Change".
The two-day event, which will take place between 1 and 2 April, will bring together leading thinkers from many countries around the world.
There is considerable interest in Hungarian family policy measures and support to encourage marriage and childbearing worldwide, which is why the Danube Institute invited the most well-known advocates of international thinkers supporting families to Budapest to create a dialogue between Hungarian politicians, researchers and decision-makers, as well as international representatives of family-friendly thinking.
The central question of the two-day conference is: How can the family be strengthened as a founding institution of society in a changing world?
Georgina Kiss-Kozma, our head of research, will speak at the event as a speaker, and Levente Székely, our director of the institute, will moderate a panel discussion.
Participation in the conference is free of charge, but registration is required:
